Welcome to the Heritage Coast Stud website

Located on the Heritage Coast in Suffolk and surrounded by the river Alde on three sides and still within a distance of only an hour from Newmarket.

The stud has been involved in breeding flat race horses since 1975, and more recently has used the good quality thoroughbred mares to cross with the Anglo Stallion to produce top class athletic competition horses that have both stamina, speed and excellent temperaments.

With the demands on the modern day event horse requiring a horse that is not only quick and agile for the combinations but also can really gallop, using these Anglo Arabs for Eventing will become more common especially since the excellent results of the Hon Guinness' 'Tamarillo' ridden by William Fox-Pitt and an increasing number of Anglos competing in the Olympics.

Stallion AI Collection at Heritage Coast Stud
We have been offering our own stallions available by AI for over 5yrs. We have recently opened our facilities and experience to visiting stallions for AI Dummy mare training, Semen evaluations and AI collections, preparations and despatch. We allow stallions to walk-in for collections and we have full facilities for stallions to stay during training. more

Liveries at Heritage Coast Stud

The stud with its recent acquistation of a neighbouring farm has now extended its grazing abilities to over 600 acres. The Stud has three main yards which are all separated by at least one mile, each with their own grazing facilities. more

Here, at the stud we offer a variety of livery services:-
Youngstock, foals from weaning,foaling and weaning of mares,horses on rest (eg polo ponies), thoroughbreds, eventers, horses convalescing from injury or illness.
