Leading endurance rider BECCY BROUGHTON is sponsored by Monstalix. Beccy, born in 1979, is based in Nottinghamshire where she has set up Total Training, which combines her skills as a personal trainer,sports massage therapist and nutritional consultant. Beccy began her dedication to endurance at a very young age travelling to competitions with her mother before she was old enough to compete. At six, she competed in her first 25 miles set speed ride and in 1988/89 she completed a total of 550miles in competition. In 1991, she completed her first 60K rider on a pure bred Arabian called Majic King who she roder from 1990-1992.
*In 1995, Beccy was picked to go to France to represent the Young Riders. In 1999,* she was Under 21 National Champion. She won the Dukeries Young Rider Championships on Murmansk and they were both picked for the Young Rider Team. *In 2001.* Murmansk and Beccy were 7th in the European Championships in Italy over 160 Kms. *In 2002,* Murmansk and Beccy were invited to compete in the Dubai World Cup FEI* over 130kms. They were the first British combination to complete and finished 27th. In 2003,** Beccy was invited to take part in the Endurance World Cup in Dubai.
Why does someone like Beccy use Monstalix? 'I use Monstalix because they are a great treat for my horses and keeps them busy for hours whilst turned out or in their stables. It gives them something to take their minds off the more serious side of life!'
