NEW to the Sue Carson Saddles range is
the Leader Jumping Saddle.
The Leader features a new, high-tech
tree design to benefit both horse and
rider and allows greater clearance around
the withers, without compromising the
seat position of the rider.
This highly innovative saddle has a semi-deep
seat that sits the rider centrally in
the saddle to give them maximum balance
and stability.
The flaps are made of luxury calf skin
that allows the rider to be very close
to the horse and has a "sticky"
surface that’s makes them feel extra
secure.
Under the flap are adjustable velcro
knee blocks that allow the rider to choose
the type of block that suits them best!
The saddle was developed with top event
rider Clea Phillipps and is named after
Clea’s successful horse Lead The
Way, who is known at home as Leader.
Explains Clea: “I have ridden in
Sue Carson Saddles for many years they
are brilliant and just the best. One day
we were talking about various saddles
and came up with the idea for the Leader.
“I am delighted with the saddle
and very much enjoyed being a part of
the development process. I also feel very
honoured that the saddle is named after
Leader.”
