GET
THE PERFECT PONY FOR CHRISTMAS…and have fun along
the way
If your
child’s pony barges them out the way, refuses
to be caught or likes to show you and the kids
who is really in charge, then it might be time
to go back to the drawing board and re-establish
the basics with Lynn Henry’s series of fun, educational
books under the banner of ‘Think Like A Pony’
Aimed
at children, the books utilise the author’s own
personal experience together with her extensive
experience and qualifications as an Applied Equine
Behaviourist. They are not only educational, but
are fun to read with their unique, colourful illustrations
and photography with easy to understand text that
will offer pony mad children lots of practical
exercises to keep them entertained over the Christmas
holiday period and beyond.
There
are three books in the Think Like A Pony ON THE
GROUND series and they have even been given the
stamp of approval by international Olympic dressage
rider Carl Hester, who chose to put a foreword
in what he considers to be the best book around
for kids. Each of the three books, launched in
October 2007 concentrate on practical exercises,
starting from very basic ground work in Step 1
Workbook to more advanced exercises in Step 3
Workbook. It is advised that parents and children
work through the Steps in order to produce the
desired results and having read Lynn’s first book
Think Like Pony which was published by Kenilworth
in March 2007 helps understand Pony language in
its most basic form.
With clear
‘step by step’ photography, colourful illustrations
and simplistic explanations on equine behaviour,
the Think Like A Pony series successfully helps
both youngsters and parents develop some of the
tools that can help overcome some of the challenges
that our equine friends throw at us!
This
is one Christmas present that educates, amuses
and entertains, without the need for 6 x AA batteries!
