NaStA Performance Test

The National Stallion Association (NaStA) was formed in 1981 to maintain and improve stallion approval standards when Ministry of Agriculture Stallion Licensing was abolished by repealing parts of the 1958 Horse Breeding Act.

NaStA represents over 20 stud-books, mostly registering pure-breds. The Association sets a minimum standard of stallion vetting to which all its member societies adhere, and since 1991 has organised a Stallion Performance Testing system open to all breeds.

The dates for this year's Performance Test are the 24th and 25th August. Closing date for entry is the 30th June.

It will again be held at the MK Event Centre, Milton Keynes.
