MED COMBI SPORT
FMBs therapy systems have
brought a host of innovative yet practical
technology to the equestrian market,
including the Activo-Med Combi Pro and
the new Activo-Med Combi Sport therapy
systems. The Activo-Med Combi system
is a unique rug that provides sequenced
pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF)
and cyclonic massage therapy. Recent
research using thermal imaging and gait
analysis has shown a marked improvement
in the way of going and length of stride
of horses, after using the Activo-Med
system on a pre-warm up setting. The

massage to these hard working muscle
groups. With 15 Sequenced Pulsed Electromagnetic
(PEMF) units and another 10 cyclonic
massage units placed along the horse’s
neck and back, this unique rug provides
a comprehensive massage and PEMF therapy
from poll to tail. The Activo-Med Combi
Pro has a versatile control box provides
pre-set warm-up and post exercise programmes
plus options to change therapy time,
frequency and intensity to create individual
therapy programmes to suit specific
horses or conditions. There are optional
therapy leg wraps, hoof pads and lasers
which run off the same control box and
the battery will last at least 15 treatments
and can be recharged or just topped

compact carry bag and detachable trolley

The Activo-Med Combi Sport has been
introduced to make the benefits of PEMF
and cyclonic massage therapy available
to a wider market with its lower price
point. This rug is made using the Activo-Med
standard mix of breathable Gorex and
mesh, and coloured red with blue trim.
It is a traditional rug shape without
the neck extension and delivers PEMF
and cyclonic massage therapy to the
most important back and hind quarter
areas. The control box provides a range
of pre-set warm up therapy programmes
for use before riding plus pre-set programmes
for after exercise, all designed to
suit the day-to-day needs of most horses.
With a compact carry bag for easy portability,
the Activo-Med Combi Sport is a cost
effective way to bring advanced PEMF
and cyclonic massage therapy to your

Both systems are lightweight, easy to
use and horse friendly with no trailing
cables. The control box is fitted neatly
and securely to the rug and comes with
a lead acid battery which has no memory,
so can be recharged as often as necessary.
The rugs are available as PEMF only
or cyclonic massage only for further
cost savings. Hire, finance, upgrades
and referral schemes are also available.
