Horse Owners – Are You Interested In Healthcare Issues?

DO you own a horse that can’t relax, has mobility issues, suffers from tying up or could generally do with a helping hand when it comes to getting the best out of life?

If so Equissage – the leaders in equine physiotherapy systems would like to hear from you.

As part of their commitment to the horse world and to continue to develop new research, the team at Equissage has put out a call to horse owners interested in getting involved in a new programme.

To take part contact Equissage on research@equissage.co.uk

The Equissage team will visit your yard and demonstrate the Equissage system on your horse to show how the massage and physiotherapy treatment can help before detailing any ailments, benefits that can be noted and so on.

The ongoing research will look into the effects of Equissage on the following ailments:

Poor Joint Mobility / Arthritis
Sore Shins and Knees
Haematomas, Swellings and Abscesses
Respiratory Conditions
Poor Venous and Lymphatic Drainage
Jarred Shoulders
Muscle Problems
Sore Backs / Vertebrae Problems
Tendon and Ligament Problems

Developed by Niagara Healthcare, whose physiotherapy products have been used on humans for both injuries and mobility for more than 50 years, the Equissage Pad gives a deep cycloidal massage to the whole horse.

Due to the unique action of the therapy; it actively improves circulation, eases and tones muscles and promotes lymphatic drainage. Used on a daily basis for 20 minutes the pad also helps promote the horse’s skin and coat.

If you have a horse that suffers with any of the above and would like to take part in the Equissage research programme, which simply involves filling out a questionnaire after your horse has had an Equissage treatment carried out by a trained advisor, please contact Equissage on research@equissage.co.uk
