Alice Pearson can now lead an event horse to water and make him drink!

With the event season now well underway Horse Quencher are thrilled to announce that rising star, event rider Alice Pearson, has admitted that she has a drinking problem and enrolled their assistance to help her through the coming season!

The stresses and strains placed on our horses – particularly when travelling and competing – can cause any horse to stop drinking, potentially leading to dehydration, which in turn can cause loss of performance, fatigue and even tying up and colic. Horse Quencher is designed to encourage your horse to drink using entirely natural ingredients already found in the horse’s diet. Amateur and professional riders worldwide are reaping the benefits for themselves, including the US and Canadian Event Team, who used it to help curtail expected hydration issues during the 2008 Olympics Games.

After a slightly sceptical first impression, Herefordshire based event rider, Alice Pearson, is now totally convinced by the results of Horse Quencher and is fully endorsing the unique product. “I have been amazed by the response from my horses to Horse Quencher,” Alice states. “Without fail it has worked on every single horse on my yard.”

A member of the British Junior and Young Rider eventing squads, 22 year old Alice has a string of event horses she is campaigning across the levels, with the aim of taking her top horse, Beau Bear to the Bramham U25 British Championships and Pau 4* in France later in 2010. Having experienced the benefits of Horse Quencher with her own horses, the innovative new product will be joining her on all her travels.

“Event horses can lose so much sweat when competing – particularly during the warmer months – so it is very important to keep them hydrated,” says Alice. “No yard or lorry should be without Horse Quencher; it will make even the fussiest of horses drink, helping to maintain a healthy, hydrated competition animal – vital for performance levels. I am over the moon to be able to represent Horse Quencher and will have no hesitations in recommending the product to my fellow competitors.”

Horse Quencher is not an electrolyte or the horsey equivalent to a fizzy drink – it is a brand new approach to preventing dehydration in the form of a highly palatable combination of natural ingredients with one aim only... to get a horse to drink when you want and need him to. The low sugar formula makes it suitable for all horses and ponies, even those with insulin resistance or laminitis.

Alice will be joining the Horse Quencher team along with US competitors, event rider Buck Davidson and Grand Prix dressage rider Donna Canfield-Young.

Horse Quencher is available in apple or mint flavour and comes in a 25-serving or 144-serving tub or box of 10 single-serving convenience packs. Single sachets – perfect for trying flavours – are available for £3.
